Wordle Second Guess Strategy: Choose the Right Move

Your opener is chosen without evidence. Move two is different: the board has already told you which letters, positions, and word families deserve attention.

The best Wordle second guess is conditional. Read all five opener colors, rebuild the remaining answers, and choose between a candidate and an information probe.
